FAQs

Storage questions, straight answers.

Everything people ask us about renting a unit in San Angelo.

What size storage unit do I need?

A 5×10 holds a closet's worth of boxes. A 10×10 fits about a one bedroom apartment. A 10×20 takes a one car garage, and our biggest 10×40 units hold a whole household. Sizes run from 5×10 up to 10×40. Call (325) 450-5700 and we'll help you pick.

How much does a storage unit cost in San Angelo?

Pricing depends on the size. The Units and Pricing page shows the current monthly rate and live availability for every size we offer. What you see there is what you pay.

Do you have climate controlled storage?

No. Every unit we rent is drive up: you pull your vehicle right to the door and unload straight into the space. That is what keeps our rates where they are, and for furniture, boxes, tools, equipment and seasonal gear it is what most people in West Texas actually need. If you are storing something that genuinely has to be climate controlled, such as fine art or certain instruments, we would rather tell you now than take the rent.

What are the gate hours?

The gate is open 7am to 9pm, every day of the week. You get in with your own key card instead of a shared gate code, so your unit is yours to reach any time the gate is open.

Can I get to my unit after work?

Yes. The gate is open until 9pm every day, including weekends, and your key card works the whole time. Evenings and Sundays are ordinary access, not an exception.

Do I have to come to an office to rent a unit?

No. Pick a size on the Units and Pricing page, then call (325) 450-5700 or send us a message and we will get you set up in minutes. Signing and payments are handled online through the customer portal.

How secure is the facility?

The lot is fully fenced and gated. Entry is key card only, and high resolution cameras cover the aisles and every entry point. AI powered monitoring watches around the clock and flags anything unusual.

What can't I store in a unit?

The usual self storage rules apply. Nothing living, nothing perishable, nothing flammable, explosive or hazardous, and nothing illegal. Units are for storage only, not for living in. If you are not sure whether something is allowed, such as a fuel tank, a propane bottle or chemicals from a job site, call (325) 450-5700 and ask before you load it.

Do you offer RV, boat, or car storage?

That is the specialty of our sister location, Bar 5 Storage, here in San Angelo. RV, boat, and covered car parking are coming soon there. B&K itself is all drive up storage units.

How do I pay my bill?

You pay online in a couple of clicks. The customer portal takes card payments secured by Stripe. Put your unit on autopay or handle each month yourself, all from your phone.

Where is B&K Storage located?
