This is the size people rent for a whole house move, and it is also the one small businesses in town use as a back room for stock, seasonal inventory and equipment that does not need to be at the shop. Twenty feet of depth takes a long load without folding it.
Because it is drive up, a 10x20 loads from a truck rather than a hand cart. You back up to the door, and the tailgate is at the threshold. On a move where you are paying for the truck by the hour, that is the part that saves money.
Step down to the 10x15 for two to three rooms. Above this, the 10x25 takes a large home, the 10x30 takes a home plus a vehicle, and the 10x40 is the largest unit we rent. All of them are listed on the units page.

Will a 10x20 storage unit hold a three bedroom house?
For most three bedroom homes, yes. Two hundred square feet takes the furniture, the appliances and the boxes. If the house has a garage or a workshop coming with it, look at the 10x25 or 10x30.
Can I back a truck or trailer up to a 10x20?
Yes. The aisles are wide and every unit is drive up, so you can bring a moving truck or a trailer right to the door rather than carrying loads across a lot.
Can I store a car in a 10x20 unit?
